On July 13, H.E. Fei Shengchao, Chinese Ambassador to Belgium, attended the seminar entitled "Cybercrime Without Borders: EU-Asia Cooperation Against Online Scams." The Chinese Government adheres to the people-centered philosophy of development and maintains a high-pressure campaign against telecom and online fraud. He shared China's practical experience and achievements in combating telecom and online fraud, highlighting in particular educational and awareness-raising initiatives targeting the vulnerable “3S” groups-Students, Senior Citizens and Single families-as well as the integrated "3C" approach of communication, countermeasures and cooperation. Ambassador Fei stressed that China stands ready to work with all parties to actively implement the four Global Initiatives-the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, the Global Civilization Initiative and the Global Governance Initiative, and jointly foster a peaceful, secure, open, cooperative and orderly cyberspace.

Ambassador Fei's remarks were well received and applauded by the participants.
