On April 28, Fei Shengchao, Chinese Ambassador to Belgium, visited and extended greetings to the workers of Sinoma CBMI Construction working on the GO4ZERO cement plant project in Belgium, and attended the topping-out ceremony of the preheater tower for the first phase of the project. More than 80 people participated in the event, including the CEO of the project owner, Holcim Belgium, the project manager of Sinoma CBMI Construction and their team members.

This project is the world's first zero-carbon green cement plant and another vivid example of win-win cooperation between China and Belgium as well as between China and Europe.

Ambassador Fei Shengchao engaged in in-depth exchanges with both Chinese and international representatives and visited the living quarters for the Chinese employees, including dormitories, canteens and a basketball court. He extended International Labor Day greetings to construction workers. He also expressed hope that they strengthen safety awareness, enjoy physical and mental health, carry forward craftsmanship spirit, and build a high-quality project worthy of the reputation of Chinese enterprises and workers. He encouraged them to work for their own good and the greater good,and to contribute at home and abroad to Chinese modernization.
