On October 31, the World Young Scientists Summit (WYSS) 2025 European Event was successfully held in Brussels. Ms. Li Yan, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of China in Belgium, attended the closing ceremony, presented awards to the winning projects, and delivered a speech.
Ms. Li noted that the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was successfully convened in Beijing recently, charting a new blueprint for China’s development in the next five years. China will continue to pursue high-quality development, promote deeper integration between technological and industrial innovation, expand high-standard opening up, and share opportunities and achieve common development with all countries. Hopefully China and Belgium, as well as China and Europe, will further deepen cooperation in science and technology, foster innovation, and jointly create a brighter future.
This event is hosted by Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology (ZAST) and Wenzhou Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Secretariat of WYSS and the Associated Center of Eurasian for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ACEIE). Under the theme “Innovation Beyond Borders, Collaboration for a Shared Future”, the event brought together around 180 scientists, young scholars and representatives from over 20 countries. |
