The Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited foreign diplomatic representatives to attend the exhibition "Tibet of China: Past and Present", which was heldat the Cultural Palace for Nationalities, Beijing, from May 15 to 16, 2008. Over 210 diplomatic envoys, representatives of foreign agencies based in China and high-level diplomats from over 120 countries and international organizations attended the two-day theme exhibition.

The diplomatic representatives carefully watched and listened to the instructions and added that the exhibition displayed plentiful exhibits and rich contents, which increased their understanding and knowledge of the past and the present of Tibet.

Assistant Foreign Minister Li Hui and Assistant Foreign Minister Wu Hongbo respectively attended the exhibition and exchanged views with the foreign diplomatic representatives.
