|Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui Meets with Bulgaria's Deputy Foreign Minister Chaushev|
On July 5, 2007, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui met in the office building of the Foreign Ministry with Bulgaria's Deputy Foreign Minister Feim Chaushev, who is in China for political consultation between the two Foreign Ministries.
Both sides made positive comments on the traditional friendship between the two peoples and smooth development of bilateral ties, expressing willingness to further build political trust, deepen trade cooperation, promote personnel exchanges and strengthen coordination and cooperation in international organizations. Chaushev reaffirmed Bulgaria's adherence to the one-China policy, pledging that his country will not conduct any official exchanges with Taiwan. Zhang thanked for Bulgaria's firm support of China's peaceful reunification.
Both sides also exchanged in-depth views on China-EU ties, the European integration process and other international and regional issues.
