According to competent regulations of the Passport Law of the People's Republic of China, starting from January 1st, 2007, the Chinese Embassy in Belgium stops to grant extension for passports of various kind. New passports would be issued to substitute those in need of extension. Therefore, from today on, passports with remaining valid period within 1 year may come to the Consulate Department for extension.
