On June 27, Chinese Ambassador to Belgium Fei Shengchao attended and addressed the Europe-China Business Forum hosted by the China Chamber of Commerce to the EU.

Ambassador Fei said that globalization is an inevitable trend of historical development. China has always upheld the principles of openness and inclusiveness, remained committed to promoting an economic globalization that is inclusive and beneficial for all, safeguarded free trade and multilateralism, and contributed to the stable development of the global economy.

Ambassador Fei pointed out that there is broad potential for China-EU economic and trade cooperation. The openness and innovative vitality of the Chinese market will create new opportunities for European companies.

With the theme of “Europe-China Markets: Thriving Together, Shaping a Brighter World,” the forum was attended by more than 100 experts and representatives from the Chinese and European government institutions, business communities and think tanks.
