On 24 May 2022, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on European Affairs Wu Hongbo had political consultations with Director General for Bilateral Affairs of the Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs Jeroen Cooreman. The two sides exchanged views on China-Belgium relations, China-Europe relations and other topics of mutual interest.
