Ambassador Cao Zhongming met with Minister of State and Facilitator of the Congo Basin Forest Partnership François-Xavier de Donnea on 21 February 2019 at invitation. The two sides exchanged views over respective African policies among other issues. Ambassador Jozef Smets, director for sub-Saharan Africa from the FPS Foreign Affairs and economic counsellor Zhou Zhaoming from the Chinese Embassy were also present.
